The final nine players are currently bagging and tagging.

A full recap along with the official chip counts and seating draw will be posted shortly.

12:00am: Khorramshahi cut down by Yeu
Just as players were about to head to break, Mansour Khorramshahi moved all in and was called by Wei Hsiang Yeu.

Khorramshahi: 10♥ 10♠
Yeu: A♠ A♦

With Khorramshahi trailing, the A♣ A♥ 7♠ flop would end his chances of survival as the 8♥ and 10♦ on the turn and river would be meaningless as Khorramshahi was eliminated in 10th place to simultaneously put the final nine on the final table.

11:55am: Forsmo eliminated, Yang takes monster lead
Catching the action on a flop of Q♠ 8♠ J♣ with around 250,000 in the middle, we found Inge Forsmo leading out for 150,000 only to have Jian Yang raise to 300,000. Forsmo paused for a moment and then called as the 6♠ landed on the turn.

Both players would check, and when the 6♣ fell on the river, Forsmo announced he was all in for 631,000.

Yang then entered the tank. Not for a few minutes, or five, or ten, but 15 minutes!

Eventually APPT President Danny McDonagh stepped in and gave Yang two minutes to make a decision with a countdown on the last minute.

As Yang entered the last few seconds of his countdown he announced call and Forsmo stood up and flipped over his A♣ K♣ for ace-high as Yang slammed down his K♦ Q♥ to the cheers of the 20-plus people that had now crowded round the table.

As Forsmo heads home in 11th place, Yang is now busy stacking a pot that puts him over 2.1 million in chips.

11:40pm: Fan falls
From the button Terry Fan moved all in for 158,000 and Jian Yang made the call from the small blind.

Fan: A♦ 2♥
Yang: 10♥ 10♣

The board ran out 6♥ 9♥ 8♣ Q♦ K♣ to see Yang’s pair hold and send Fan to the rail in 12th place – just two places shy of valuable Asia Player of the Year points.

11:30pm: Mansour doubles
Wei Hsiang Yeu opened to 50,000 and Mansour Khorramshahi moved all in for 64,000. Yeu quickly called holding Q♥ 10â™  to be up against Khorramshahi’s A♥ 2♥ .

The dealer quickly spread a K♣ 3♥ 4♦ 5♥ 5♦ board to ensure Khorramshahi the double to 140,000 as Yeu took a small hit.

11:15pm: Crivell culled
Although we weren’t there to catch the action, we were informed of Patrick Crivell’s elimination.

Crivell found himself all in holding A-K against Inge Forsmo’s J-J. The board blanked out and Crivell hit the rail in 13th place for a HK$113,000 payday as Forsmo moves to 1,070,000 in chips.

11:15pm: Chow exits
Wei Hsiang Yeu opened the button to 40,000 and Raymond Chow moved all in for 164,000 with Yeu calling.

Yeu: A♦ 6♥
Chow: K♦ J♣

The board ran out 2♥ 9♣ 5♠ A♣ 9♥ and Chow was headed to the rail in 14th place.

11:10pm: Full house for Yeu; over a million
With the board reading 6♠ 9♠ 10♣ 10♥ 2♦ we found Wei Hsiang Yeu all in with Raymond Chow making the call.

Yeu tabled his 2♠ 2♣ for a rivered full house to capture the pot and move to 1,050,000 while Chow was left with just 180,000.

11:05pm: Jian over one million
Jian Yang has been on a tear recently and is now sitting with an impressive 1,020,000 with his nearest rivals hovering around 600,000.

11:00pm: Level up, blinds 10,000/20,000, ante 3,000

10:55pm: Guzzardi gone
From middle position, Michael Guzzardi moved all in for 51,000 only to have David Foran raise to 102,000 next to speak. Everyone folded and the cards were tabled.

Guzzardi: Kâ™  9â™
Foran: J♦ J♠

The board ran out A♣ 6♦ 5♦ 7♦ 5♥ to see Foran scoop the pot to move to 500,000 as Guzzardi left in 15th place.

10:45pm: Hon halted
Jian Yang opened with a raise to 44,000 and Victor Hon moved all in from the big blind for 60,000. Yang called and the cards were tabled.

Hon: A♦ 7♣
Yang: K♦ J♦

The board ran out K♠ 2♦ 2♥ J♥ 3♥ and Hon was sent to the rail in 16th place.

Victor Hon – 16th place

10:35pm: Cheng rivers double
The action folded round to Paul Cheng in the small blind and he moved all in for 55,000. Michael Guzzardi made the call in the big blind tabling his J♣ J♥ to be in the lead against Cheng’s K♣ 2â™  .

The final board of 7♥ Q♠ 9♣ 9♦ K♠ would see Cheng spike the river to stay alive as Guzzardi slipped to 65,000 in chips.

10:25pm: Fan doubles
Victor Hon open-shoved 265,000 and Terry Fan made the call from the small blind for his last 220,000.

Hon: A♠ 9♥
Fan: A♠ K♣

The dealer spread a J♣ 7♥ 6♥ A♦ J♠ to see Fan double through as Hon was left with just 45,000 in chips.

10:15pm: Double for Guzzardi
Tom Alner opened to 32,000 only to have Michael Guzzardi call all-in from the big blind.

Alner: J♠ 10♣
Guzzardi: Q♥ 2♦

The board ran out A♦ 6♣ 10♥ 9♦ Q♠ to see Guzzardi spike a double.

10:10pm: Guzzardi flushed
Michael Guzzardi opened to 32,000 and Yibo Zhou called from the big blind as the dealer dropped a J♠ K♣ 10♥ flop.

Guzzardi continued for 35,000 and Zhou check-called before the 9♥ on the turn went check, check. The river of the Q♥ saw Zhou move all in for 192,000 and after a long deliberation, Guzzardi called.

Zhou flipped over his A♥ 2♥ for a flush and scooped the pot as Guzzardi was left crippled with 25,000.
