Home / Uncategorized / MicroMillions 6: Over and out, 10 4 fisch leaves everyone behind claiming Event #12 victory ($3.30 NLHE Big Antes)

When playing for 11 cents a pop it seems like the play chip table this author just exited. But, when those chips turn into $2,530 in real cash like it did for LordAgrael last night, one should take notice. Another excellent beginning to the MicroMillions series as it continues today with Event #12’s $3.30 NLHE Big Antes $40,000 guaranteed tournament. Promptly another guarantee was squashed like a Black Friday shopper dashing through a retail store’s aisle for a $10 Xbox game as 27,747 players amassed a $83,241.00 prize pool. While 3,600 players got paid, they did not make as much as our champion 10 4 fisch who made a deal with slink dog909 before taking away $6,929.27 after winning a quick heads-up battle.

Only 15 players from that original stadium-seating only crowd would make it through the ninth hour of play already locking up $241.39 in prize money from the small buy-in. It would a short return from the break for SnapperAAA and 5DarthSID5 who both collect $241.39 in 14th and 15th place respectively.

Play escalated quickly with the big antes taking their toll on the remaining players as Mr.Naseri took out hornthorn76 in 12th place ($312.15) after turning a flush to win a 7.3 million chip pot as the blinds moved up to 250K/500K ante 100K. The average chips at this point barely tipping 20BBs and with the sizable antes, players would need to remain aggressive or kiss a shot at the $7,926.60 sitting up top goodbye.

Half way through the ninth hour with the blinds holding at 250K/500K ante 100K we would find our nine lucky final tablist. drakudemine, showing no motion sickness to the movement of all these tournament chips, would min-raise from the hijack seat as AndreErmis three bet to 250,000 chips. drakudemine called to see a diamond-laded Q♦ 3♦ J♦ . AndreErmis wasted no time shoving for 2.59 million as drakudemine made the call hold top two Q♥ J♣ . Neither player held a diamond as AndreErmis reveled cracked kings K♠ K♥ . The 8♦ turn and 4♥ would send $312.15 to AndreErmis and the other nine players to the spotlighted table below:

Seat 1: KlausO47 (7136456 in chips)
Seat 2: 10 4 fisch (20838368 in chips)
Seat 3: drakudemine (26240864 in chips)
Seat 4: Mr.Naseri (18698991 in chips)
Seat 5: MaigelZn1t3 (5715900 in chips)
Seat 6: beslan1970 (13586870 in chips)

Seat 8: CeRKa bácsi (19746400 in chips)
Seat 9: dvb25 (13883201 in chips)

Well that was not pleasant

Just 11 hands into final table play our first rough beat and elimination showed itself. With the blinds up to 300K/600K ante 120K Mr.Naseri would raise to 3.18 million from UTG as MaigelZn1t3 dove in quickly with a shove for 8.67 million holding pocket queens Q♠ Q♥ . Mr.Naseri made the call with J♣ K♦ as both watched the 9♣ A♠ 2♣ 10♣ 8♣ board pile up with enough clubs to send MaigelZn1t3 off in ninth place ($416.20).

In as the chip leader, out in eighth

Things did not run well for drakudemine at the final table, coming in as the chip leader with 26 million chips and ten minutes later leaving with much less than the seven grand for first and a MicroMillions champion card protector. With the blinds up to 400K/800K ante 160K drakudemine was knocked down to just 2.32 million and open shoved from the small blind. Mr.Naseri made the polite call from the big blind holding 3♣ Jâ™  . Not so nice was drakudemine’s 2♣ K♣ completely missing the 3â™  5â™  6â™  8â™  10♥ board as Mr.Naseri’s jack of spades was enough to ship drakudemine $707.54 in eighth place.

Mr.Naseri taketh and giveth away

After knocking out drakudemine in eighth place, Mr.Naseri’s tournament head was on the block just three hands later squaring off against KlausO47 all-in preflop for a 21.9 million chip pot. Watch below as Mr.Naseri takes the same route as the player previously defeated:

Dominated before the flop with 10♥ K♥ , Mr.Naseri could not match KlausO47’s 10♣ A♣ who notched a turned boat Aâ™  10♦ 5♣ A♦ 3♥ sending Mr.Naseri off in seventh place ($1,040.51).

Back-to-back to reach the final four

As the blinds moved up to 500K/1MM ante 200K shortstacked dvb25 found pocket fives 5♥ 5♦ in the hijack seat and shoved for 3.96 million. KlausO47 on the immediate left re-raised to seven million hoping to catch another fly in the trap. No one wandered into the web of KlausO47’s pocket kings K♣ K♦ which took down dvb25’s fives easily on the 7♣ 9♦ 10♦ Kâ™  8♣ board as dvb25 took away $1,498.33 in sixth place.

On the next hand KlausO47 would limp in from the hijack seat as beslan1970 called from the button, slink dog909 completed the small blind, and CeRKa bácsi checked as 10♥ 4♥ 8♠ hit the flop. slink dog909 pushed out three million as only beslan1970 made the call. 11 million chips would come out on the 6♠ turn as beslan1970 holding 3.38 million left and a flush draw Q♥ K♥ made the call. slink dog909 showed the flopped top pair 10♦ Q♦ and as the ace of spades hit the river A♠ beslan1970 hit the rail in fifth place ($2,247.50).

Doggie bag to go

slink dog909 showed no mercy to CeRKa bácsi late in the tournament as the blind held at 500K/1MM ante 200K calling down the Hungarian on three streets to win a huge 63.8 million chip pot. Then, three hands later, slink dog909 did not bother with any post flop decisions and shoved for 76.5 million chips from the small blind. Down to 1.79 million after paying the sizable big blind and ante, CeRKa bácsi made the call all-in holding 9♥ K♥ . The preflop advantage did not last long as slink dog909’s 3♣ 5â™  quickly found a couple more treys on the 3♥ 2♦ 3♦ 6♦ 7♦ to finish the destruction of CeRKa bácsi in fourth place ($2,996.67).

Fisch-ing for a win

The remaining three would pass a few notes about a chop in the chat box but nothing materialized quickly enough as eight minutes later, after the five minute tenth hourly break, we would be heads-up for the title. 10 4 fisch would leadoff for a raise to 2.1 million as KlausO47 upped the ante to 27.5 million with a shove from the big blind. Holding Kâ™  Q♦ and covering, 10 4 fisch made the call to face off against KlausO47’s pocket nines 9♣ 9♥ . The nines would die on the flop 4♥ 6♥ Q♣ 10â™  A♦ as a queen appeared to send 56.1 million tournament chips to 10 4 fisch as KlausO47 took home a massive ROI with $3,745.84 in third place.

Ten hours of work for 2000% ROI

Not many places a person can turn a 2000% ROI in under a day. Maybe the stock market or searching for a mystical seven card straight flush at the Pai Gow tables, but at the MicroMillions this will happen each day for the next two weeks as 10 4 fisch and slink dog909 worked out the deal below leaving $800.00 to our champ tonight:

slink dog909: $6,770.92
10 4 fisch: $6,129.27

That’s a 10-4 good buddy

Just 14 hands into the heads-up match between 10 4 fisch and slink dog909 we would name tonight’s champion. Still plenty of tournament to play as 10 4 fisch holding a 78.4 million to 60.2 million chip decided to push things a little quicker. Our final two decided on a big splash, as they took matters preflop for a 120.4 million chip pot. Watch below as 10 4 fisch says good day to the final opponent:

A flip for the win as slink dog909 showed pocket nines 9♦ 9♠ and 10 4 fisch ran through nines once again, this time with A♦ 10♠ hitting a broadway straight Q♣ J♦ K♣ 2♠ A♠ to win the MicroMillions 6 Event #12 title!
