It was certainly a busy Sunday on PokerStars. In addition to the massive numbers of tournaments running as usual, the MicroMillions 6 series was underway with various micro-limit buy-in options for players.

The PS Women Live satellites for the Women’s Event at the upcoming 2014 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure were also in motion again today, and the $215 Weekly Final qualifier had 26 players involved. Ultimately, four players were paid, though it was benmar of Canada who took down the $3,300 prize package, as well as more than $1K in extra prize money.

And as for the $55 Women’s Sunday with its $10K guarantee, there was a solid turnout again this week:

Total players: 223
Guarantee: $10,000.00
Prize pool: $11,150.00
Paid finishers: 36

The money bubble burst at the three-hour mark, and only three tables remained 30 minutes later. And still in the top 10 was a familiar face, Team Online’s Adrienne “talonchick” Rowsome.

Atop the leaderboard was someone we just got to know this week on the PokerStars Blog, DianaSvensk.

As the field thinned further, though, things changed. Talonchick was eliminated in 16th place for $122.65. Her A-K ran into A-Q but also a queen on the river.

On the final table bubble, it was none other than DianaSvensk who pushed her relatively short stack all-in with A♣ 5♠ against the Q♦ 7♠ of domilid. But the board of 7♥ 7♦ 7♣ J♠ 5♣ flopped quads for domilid, and DianaSvensk was out in tenth place with $178.40.

Seat 3: vasaroja (49,613 in chips)
Seat 4: fawn0 (22,526 in chips)
Seat 5: glorydiamond (103,415 in chips)
Seat 6: lmn_7 (168,894 in chips)

Seat 8: missnadiaa (36,828 in chips)
Seat 9: whalestar (38,660 in chips)

Fawn0 doubled through domilid on the very first hand of action, and two hands later, CzaRnaPL attempted the same feat. The 2012 Women’s Sunday champion got involved with glorydiamond to see a raised flop of 7â™  A♣ 3♣ , and CzaRnaPL was all-in with A♥ Jâ™  for top pair. But glorydiamond called with A♦ K♣ for top pair with the better kicker, and the 3â™  turn and 9♥ river ended it there. CzaRnaPL exited in ninth place with $211.85.

Three hands after that, vasaroja moved all-in UTG, and killtheacesa called all-in from the big blind with Q♠ Q♦ . Vasaroja showed A♠ K♣ and caught the turn on the 10♣ 3♥ 3♦ K♠ 2♣ board to win the pot. Killtheacesa departed in eighth place with $278.75.

Whalestar doubled through lmn_7, and missnadiaa did the same a few hands later.

Fawn0 sought another double, and she moved all-in with K♠ Q♦ from the small blind, but glorydiamond called 34K more from the big blind with 3♦ 3♣ . The board of 5♦ 2♣ J♣ 5♣ 5♠ missed fawn0 completely, and she walked away with $390.25 for seventh place.

Domilid was the next at risk, pushing her stack preflop with A♣ 6♣ but running into the A♦ Q♣ of glorydiamond. The board of 2♠ 3♠ J♣ J♠ K♠ changed nothing, and domilid was out in sixth place with $501.75.

Two hands later, missnadiaa moved all-in UTG with A♠ 4♦ , but glorydiamond called with A♣ K♥ from the small blind. And the latter only improved on the board when it showed 9♠ 8♣ K♣ J♥ 5♦ . Missnadiaa was eliminated in fifth place with $646.70.

Just as it seemed like glorydiamond was running away with the tournament, lmn_7 mounted a comeback with this double:

Whalestar moved her short stack all-in with A♦ 4♠ against the J♥ J♦ of vasaroja, but the jacks held up to the 7♣ 2♥ Q♦ K♥ 9♠ board to eliminate whalestar in fourth place with $947.75.

And vasaroja was the next to push, doing it with little more than 60K chips holding K♦ 9♦ . Original UTG raiser glorydiamond called with A♦ 6♠ , and the board of 7♠ 7♥ A♠ K♠ 10♥ gave glorydiamond the better two pair. Vasaroja was out in third place with $1,259.95.

Glorydiamond goes strong into heads-up

The final two players started their battle with these stacks:

Seat 5: glorydiamond (411,967 in chips)
Seat 6: lmn_7 (257,033 in chips)

On the sixth hand, lmn_7 risked it all with A-8, but glorydiamond had the same hand, and they split the pot. Three hands after that, the two battled again. It started with a raise from lmn_7 and call from glorydiamond to see the 3♦ 6♣ K♥ flop. A bet from lmn_7 brought a check-raise from glorydiamond, and lmn_7 responded by moving all-in with 8♥ 8♣ . But glorydiamond called with K♠ 7♥ for top pair, and the 10♠ river finished the tournament for lmn_7 in second place, which was worth $1,672.50.

Glorydiamond won the tournament and $2,280.28. Congrats!
