It’s time for number five.

We’ve already had four days of Macau Millions action and we’ve seen a total of 765 entrants. We had a small two-day hiatus after Day 1C but players came roaring back yesterday and Day 1D drew 335 players, the largest starting flight in Macau Millions history.

Out of those 335, only 24 survived, bringing the total number of Day 2 players to 53. Among those qualifiers were Team PokerStars Pro Vivian Im. Im became the first Team PokerStars Pro to make it to Day 2 and is third overall with 294,000.

Before Day 1D no woman had made to through to Day 2, now we have two. Aside from Im, Percy Yung — who bubbled Day 1A — advanced to Day 2 yesterday.

We also got our second double qualifier. Jack Lee made it through Day 1D after having survived Day 1B. He joins Alexandre Chieng in the small group of players who made the top seven percent more than once.

Lee plans on playing again today, as do several players. There’s good money in it. Players who survive another Day 1 get a bonus HKD $11,000 in addition to their HKD $8,000 mincash. Today’s bound to be another big day as we near the weekend.

So stay tuned as fresh faces and grizzled Day 1 veterans take their shot at the Macau Millions. Hundreds of players are starting to funnel in, but only 7 percent of them will survive. Then they’ll have to fight for two more days to take down the trophy.

We might also break the 1,000 entry mark today.

For about the next seven hours we’ll have fast-paced blinds, multi-way all-ins and more poker madness as we play through another day 1. Stay tuned.
