Your chance to get on a $1 million TV show just got a little easier. Today, PokerStars launched a series of qualifiers for Shark Cage, and you now have more frequent and cheaper chances to be one of the four online qualifiers on the TV stage. What’s more, this is your last chance to get cast for the show.
Four heats of the show will play out at EPT Barcelona in August. If you do well in an online qualifier, you will have a chance to get a free trip to Spain, a hotel room, and $600 in expense money. Once there, you will sit with some of poker’s top names for a chance at big money.
The online qualifiers are running every day from now until June 9 at 09:05, 12:05 & 15:05 ET. Each one has $1,500 in added cash, and the top 20 players in each will have a chance to audition for Shark Cage.
The audition is an important step along the way. You will be asked to submit a video of yourself. It’s vital your video be about you. No matter how creative you might get (and you should be creative), if the producers can’t learn about who you are as a person, whether you have a TV personality, etc, there is no way for them to know if you are fit for the cage.
